A fantastic lioness walked towards us in the morning, her breasts full, her belly floppy. when she passed by we noticed another thing, her back leg were all wet and dirty.... she probably gave birth some hours before... amazing.. we followed as much as we could but then she crossed the river ,and on the other bank we saw other two cats running. We reached the crossing and went the other side after a bit of search we spotted her again, she was walking towards us again but she kept watching behind her shoulder. She eventually walked off in the grassland.
Cheetah was our treat on the way back.
In the afternoon we went back in the area, was quite late and we wanted to se if lions were around, but instead of cats walking in the river we found two men with a panga.... poachers. Now was clear while lions were running in the morning and why the female kept watching back... they probably were afraid of them. I looked through my binoculars and folowed their walk across the riverbed but when they saw me they started running and disappeared into the bush. I do not like poachers but i like even less even people who buy from them.
