Four cheetahs in one morning

Driving towards breakfast point with three guests, a couple of honeymooners (the DikDiks) and the sister of a coastal pilot, it is cold, the sun is just rising when with the corner of the eye I spotted something on a rock, I reversed to check, the rock is around 50 mtrs from the road and on top of it there are 4 cheetahs..... not one or two... 4 cheetahs. A female and three well grown cubs.
They moved and we started following them, we actually preceded them in order not to scare them. It was unbelievable, they started climbing big granite boulder, one after the other to get a better view of the surrounding. The light was perfect. We followed them for at least one hour and then after resting a bit in an open plain they veered off towards thick bush and we lost them.
They were still looking for something to hunt but all around was completely empty of game. Nonetheless I believe she will manage to pull down something, she must be an amazing mother to be able to bring three cub almost to the adult stage.

In the afternoon with two more guests in the car we had an awsome encounter with a mother elephant and her calf, I stopped the car 5 meters in front of her and she came a bit aggressively, I started talking to her, she relaxed but kept coming closer, when she was one meter and a half from us I went a bit louder and put my hand out, she stopped and strectched the trunk a little bit, raised it and started smelling my hand from a couple of centimeters, man, I felt the air when she exhaled.... from the car only silence, not even a single click from a camera. After some seconds, she moved around the car, completely at ease and went feedin on palm fruits leaving us absolutely breahless from the overflow of emotions. Man, that's life.
We also saw the kipunji pride, the 2 leopards again, mother and cub on the same rain tree and is not even all, eventually we got the two lioness with the cubs eating a zebra foal almost in the darkness (thanks Owen). I only forgot to mention that in the morning we also saw 2 honey baaaaadgeeeer.
