Useless lions and good leopard

I was not in a good mood today.
Lions in bushbuck were sleepy even if 500 buffs walked by and run back and forth in the dust... useless.
The afternoon was better with a couple of lions that should have been mating but did not have any intention of doing that and so walked out of the river bed each one on its own. better but still useless.
The 26 lions forming the kipunji pride that we spotted later on was more promising, the sighting of so may lions is always special... but one out of them all was not sleeping and stood by the side of the car... just something more then useless.
Thankfully Festo called me for a leopard.... and man, it was good. The cat was eating an impala on a sausage tree just over us... stunning. After sometime he dragged the carcass upper and upper on the tree and was so agile that was almost unbelievable. He did not loose a bit of the impala, only the stomach dropped.
Then tired came down on a lower branch with the sunset behind and a gorgeus backlight shining on him. The sunset was more then a heart could bear.... gold gold gold
Eventualy he climbed down and disappeared probably for a drink..... super!
Hyena also came and stole the stomach.... not much to eat but hyena is hyena and is not famous for being fussy.
