Condensed lions 23/06/2011

Sometimes you see lions sleeping, sometimes you see lions feeding, sometimes you see lions mating or playing or chasing vultures.
Sometimes you see females, sometimes you see small cubs and sometimes you see big males.
Sometimes happens that you see all of this in the same sighting and this is exactly what we had this afternoon, condensed lions.
The morning was fun, we saw the kwihala pride and a funny young male biting the twigs of a combretum purpureiflorum, we had a good laugh at him and went on towards the river drive where we saved a chameleon from the middle of the road and put him in some bushes by the side, then we saw the bushbuck pride also called second forest pride.... they were in the shade of bushes surrounding an open grassland where a giraffe carcass was laying half eaten.... the light was dull and the lions sleepy so we decided to come back in the afternoon.
The decision was perfect and the afternoon spectacular....

Lions did almost everything they possibly can do to amuse us... and in the end very small cubs came out of the bushes and crossed the road in front of us.  Tiny Tiny little things with big eyes and a wobbly walk.....
