Back to guests, two english couples came in today, nice and passionate people… and we had a super afternoon…. Elephants at Festo crossing feeding in the tall Yellow Thatching Grass and a young leopard on a rain tree the other side of the crossing blessed our first hour of drive. The leopard was great, and also the fact that I spotted it before Festo was not bad. It kept moving uncomfortably on the lower fork, hit hardly by the afternoon sun and eventually climbed up the tree to a more shady branch with all its natural grace. Back at the crossing more and more ellies came and were all busy digging for water, the area is open so we sat down with nothing between us and them and we enjoyed them in complete silence for a long time. Elephants get under your skin. Evander and three cubs were at w7 again but for a change with a full belly. Good news. At sunset we also got a lioness resting on a rock at breakfast point, she posed for some minutes and then she slowly moved to look for something, she was beautiful, walking with an aim we do not know
.
