With a big effort from everybody we manage to solve them all just in time. I trimmed my beard, had a long midday shower and put on clean clothes, I made a decent looking person out of a rugged bush worker.
We drive to the airstrip collect the guests, a nice couple and head back to camp for lunch, in the middle we saw nice cut throat finches.
Afternoon drive was rewarding, good light, especially on a beautiful lilac breasted roller and eventually lions, kipunge pride, at least 19 of them, so fat that they could roll down if the sand river had a bit more of a slope. They were a good sighting but man, the smell was unbearable. Their scatt everywhere made the air heavy and not of a nice southern france lavender scent.
